Right, hello!
Brief introduction: I used to write a weekly-ish blog on MySpace, which went relatively well for the first few months until my suggestion that blaming women for rape wasn’t a good idea went down like a ton of bricks inside a lead zeppelin hovering over shit creek. This made me realise that I didn’t actually want to know most of the people who read it, so I’ve moved here. Shh!
I’ve erased the MySpace blog now, largely because the comments were so depressing that I spent the three days in between posting the entry and deleting everything muttering “Fuck, did he actually say that?” at inappropriate times. I saved the entires as pure HTML, and I’ve reproduced them here. There are still some niggles because I haven’t used Blogger WordPress before, but things will hopefully work properly soon-ish.
(Older posts were written for a slightly different audience than the one this blog is going to get, so the explanations and language might come off as patronising and simplistic. I don’t think you’re stupid, I’m just too lazy to edit them).

I was looking back over some of your other posts – the cyberwoman one was particularly interesting! Was the woman who played her in Torchwood one of the people out of “As If” Early 00’s teenage drama show littered with bitchiness, sex and suicidal tendencies? Not that I didn’t watch it…Sooz’s hair was just like sooo enviable

I’ve never seen As If (don’t think it ever reached Australia), but I just checked IMDB and, yeah, it was her.
As for the second question, yes, yes they were. Although I got a lot of supportive emails from complete strangers, so I suppose I just have terrible taste and it’s not necessarily an indictment on humanity in general.

WordPress is good stuff, and easier to use than perhaps Blogger.
