I’ve noticed that a lot of the people who are trolling me / writing blog entries about how much they hate me insist on taking shots at Australia for being settled as a convict colony. I’d like to point out that Australian settlement also wiped out 90% of the indigenous population and our treatment of them has improved only marginally since then. If you’re going to try insulting me on the basis of my nationality, at least do it properly.

A spare monkey in a temple

Most people reading this won’t be familliar with Australia’s comedy output. Now you know why.
I’m sure you can do a sketch set in an Indian call centre without it degenerating into embarrassing decades-old racial stereotypes and jokes about monkeys, but they didn’t. Also, these characters were in almost every episode. Season two coming soon to Channel 10, home of Search for the Next Doll, Big Brother and When Labiaplasty Goes Wrong (probably).
